biography

john easton and elizabeth bradley met their junior year of high school. john fell instantly, but elizabeth tried to ignore the motor cycle riding bad boy that was john. it took a little convincing, but eventually elizabeth gave in to his charms and feel in love. married at just 19 years old, john and elizabeth began their lives living day to day and month by month on just enough to get by. they lived in an apartment in glendale, california. john had joined the navy and was on a boat for four years while elizabeth went to art school. elizabeth traveled to spain with many other military wives. that trip turned into their official honeymoon. it was from that day that elizabeth built her love for travel and adventure.

once the two lovebirds had a more solid foundation, they began a family. surprisingly, they gave birth to a set of twins and welcomed brie into the world with her brother. they were a handful nonetheless. by this time, john had a successful business career and elizabeth was able to take a break from her job as a secretary and raise their two children. they family had moved to huntington, beach soon after. elizabeth began giving piano lessons to children in their own home to add some income to their household. a few years later, the family welcomed another little girl to their lives and as a young child, elizabeth was thrilled to have a little sister.

taking after her mother with a dream of a life full of travel, it only seemed fitting that brie would follow down a path of photography as her career. she didn't like the idea of a nine to five job, feeling trapped in an office or behind a desk for too long. her love of photography started in early childhood, when her parents bought her first camera. regardless of the fact that it was a fisher-price play toy, it seemed totally real to her. on her twelfth birthday, her parents purchased her a real camera of professional quality, trusting their daughter to take care of it and be responsible. they realized that this outlet of a live behind the lens was something that helped brie through a lot of teenage turmoil. it gave her goals and something to focus on. in college, photography was her major and that came as no shock to anyone she knew. she minored in journalism and then was off on her way to see the world and build a life for herself.

she didn't get away quite as quickly as she had planned as she had met someone. someone with whom she could see her future with, but after some time there were signs that pointed in another direction. whether it was denial or naiveness, her relationship was never really one of true love, but rather true friendship. her boyfriend came out to her and from that point on she became a support for him. needless to say, relationships after this one were a little difficult. she struggled for awhile wondering if something like that would happen again, if in some strange world she made it happen even though that's definitely not how it works. it was also strange for her new boyfriends to hear about this past relationship, but she did strive for the real thing and has hopes that one day it'll happen for her.
